Colorful Eggs

I have always enjoyed coloring eggs for Easter. I knew we would have a great time when we planned to have Aunt Jenna, Uncle Aaron and his girlfriend Maria over to dye eggs. This was Makenah's first egg dyeing experience, and she had a blast.
I got the table all set up while she napped and when she got up, we started right in.  (Logan napped on the sideline. Ha!)
A little assistance from Uncle Bear.
Makenah seemed to enjoy herself a lot. Notice how pastel all her eggs are? If you can imagine, they didn't stay in the dye very long. I definitely didn't mind! She was having a great time!
Creative Aunt Jenna. Carefully crafting the design.
As she made her way through all the eggs, they started getting re-dipped into other colors. She didn't need more eggs to keep the fun going, she just kept dipping the same ones into more colors. It was so cute!
Uncle Bear and his sweet sweet girlfriend Maria. She lives in Virginia, which is WAY too far away! She was visiting during her spring break (she teaches 2nd grade!) Come back to Kansas soon Maria!
Some of the finished product. There were lots of laughs as some of these were created.

Give peas a chance

This girl loves Elmo.
And, lucky for her, she has many special people who like to shower her with Elmo gifts. Who knows how long he'll be a favorite, but for now, Elmo is pretty cool.
Aunt Jenna surprised Makenah and sent her this shirt in the mail.
I think she pulls it off nicely.
Oh the cuteness! How could I post on the blog and not include a picture of Logan?!

A pretty special 2 year old!

As I have gone back through pictures, I had been saving birthday pictures of Makenah to post after I had time to go through all of them and pick out my favorites. Makenah's birthday was at the beginning of March, and we had family over to celebrate the occasion. I still have another celebration for this girl up my sleeve, and she is so deserving of another party...if nothing else, to celebrate what a sweet big sister she is.

Waking up on birthday morning.
She had a goody bag of Elmo awesomeness waiting for her.
The day was all about her, and that evening my family came over to celebrate with us.

Logan and some buddies

I'm falling behind! I have lots of pictures to share, and I'm digging myself a hole falling behind. I'm gonna stay on top of it, and get everything shared soon!

Logan will be one month old tomorrow! I'll get some cute one month pictures up for you to see soon! And, let you know how we are all doing! For right now, here are some of him lounging around the house!
 Tummy time!
Logan is very mellow when we put him on his tummy. No big deal. We laughed when we remembered how Makenah used to keep her face planted straight down buried in the blanket and scream. Ha!
And, I wanted to share these cute ones of Makenah with her friends Cade and Cole.

My bro and sis...

...are awesome
After just getting to spend time with both of them, for their birthdays and Easter, I am reminded of how cool they are, and how much I love them. They both treat Makenah and Logan so special, and its fun to watch them become attached to them.
Makenah loves her "Aunt Senna." Jenna spoils her with love, fun activities, new adventures, and excitement. And, Logan gets lots of snuggles and kisses.
And, Uncle Bear is intriguing, with his dark beard, and his fun sense of humor. He pays extra special attention to Makenah. I know that he and Logan will be close as well.
Happy late birthday to you both.
Man, you two are getting old.

Oh, Aunt Jenna...
And, Uncle Bear...
We love you!!
