Makenah Grace: Our first baby is five

Today is special, and exciting, and sweet and it makes me totally daydream about the past five years. What?! Five years?!

Our first baby turned five today! Happy Birthday Makenah Grace!

And, our girl since her last birthday...

We are so proud of our girl. She's sweet and smart, thoughtful and curious, loving and kind. I can't believe it's been 5 years since we became her parents. I need to write a whole post about 'Makenah at five years old.' She's tender hearted and sensitive, loves to play dress up and pretend, and has opinions about a lot of things, including how she dresses(dress and tights everyday if she had her way. :). She likes to collect things, is a good big sister, and loves to bake and create things. She does great in school, loves her whole family deeply, makes us laugh and is super smart with a big vocabulary. Kenah loves her activities like dance, gymnastics and church, but also enjoys snuggling in at home. Couldn't a mother go on and on?!!
