Sunny

Makenah was so surprised when she woke up from her nap the other day and I asked her if she wanted to go play outside and ride in her wagon. I had been waaayy too cold to feel right about playing outside, and so I think I caught her off guard. (Poor thing had been missing her wagon...occasionally when we'd get in and out of the car she'd just gaze off to it and say "wagon, wagon...")
I pulled her up and down the street. She loved every minute. Of course, her after nap snack had to come with us.
After her ride she had to pull it and push it all over the driveway.
She got it into the grass, and was having to really work to get it anywhere. It was a cute coincidence that when she got over there she took off her hat and turned it around, almost to say, "ok, I'm gonna be working' hard now."
We finished up by playing fetch with Casey in the backyard. She didn't want to leave him out of the fun.

Great Plains Nature Center

Recently my friend Jenna invited Makenah and I to join her and her little boy Will at an outing they were going to at Great Plains Nature Center. We jumped on the chance to go, and had a great time walking around to all the little stations and exploring the museum area. There were so many moms and kids there, it wasn't the most conducive to getting a picture, but I tried to grab a few anyway.
At one of the craft stations you could glue cotton balls onto the picture to make a polar bear. You can bet this polar bear is on the refrigerator. We got about six pieces on there, and it was time to move on! Ha!
We also stopped to see the snake being shown. Kids were allowed to touch it while she was talking if they wanted....
She walked right up to it and actually did it! Couldn't believe it! She came back to me, and said, "Mama touch snake?" Uh....no way. I said back to her, "No, Makenah can touch the snake." Glad she didn't insist.
Makenah and her friend Will. She really likes when we get to play with Will. On the way to meet them she always says "See Will," about a hundred times. And then on the way home too.
Checking out all the different furs.
Playing with the Bubber. A messy and interesting dough concoction.
It's fun having places to go explore during these cold winter months. We're looking forward to doing a lot more things like this!

All dressed up

Someone was all dolled up Christmas morning!
This picture that Bryan took has turned into a favorite of ours.
Checking out the snowmen. We did not put her here...she plopped down beside them all by herself. Honking the nose, pointing out body parts, and then giving some love.
Can I take Elmo and Big Bird to church with me...?

Christmas Card

I'm almost done catching up with holiday stuff...
I didn't want to forget to add these pictures from our Christmas card this year. At the beginning of December we caught a really nice day, and my mom came and took our picture. I think she did a great job! We were chasing Makenah and she was chasing us, waiting for different shots. It was a really fun time.
These five were on our card.
And, some other favorites...
Here's the Christmas belly... I'm 31 weeks along now.
And, here is my sweet, sweet mother. We're thankful for so many fun pictures!

My guy

To say this is late is an understatement.
Whoops.
I've already talked about celebrating Bryan's birthday at the end of December. But I could not miss a chance to go through and pick out some of my favorite pictures of Bryan to reminisce and wish him a happy birthday.
I've been working on getting pictures together for this post.
It's hard to choose favorites from the thousands and thousands we have of our 6 years married and our time dating before that. And, since we just celebrated our anniversary, it felt timely to look back.
So, to my sweet guy.
