Windy park

The kids and I went to the park on Monday. It was going to be 70* out. I mentioned it that morning, and you know this two year old was not going to let me forget it. Well, it ended up being super windy, but she waited so patiently and played so sweetly until Logan was done napping. It was then she promptly reminded me it was park time.

We went to the K-State park, named I think because of the purple play equipment...? It's a quiet, nice little neighborhood park near where Mimi and Papa, and Granna and Grandad live. It's a favorite of ours.
Pushing in Logan. "I can do it, Mom."

What a sweetheart this boy is. He's so easy going and such a good sport. Not gonna lie: I think the park is hard with 2 kids and just one adult. Well, it's hard when one of those kids is a non-walking toddler who can't be set in the sand. :)
He was so cute watching his sissy.
And, just so we remember the crazy Kansas weather...
It was 70* this day, and the next day, Tuesday, it snowed here.
I was starting to get a little spring fever, and then I was quickly set straight.

Celebrating Grandpa

My Dad's birthday was the past Sunday, and we went over to their house to celebrate. We started outside on the play equipment enjoying the near 70* weather and then went inside to decorate some birthday cupcakes. After dinner we blew out candles and ate dessert. We had a great time together.
She kept saying, "Let's climb to the top and see what happens." She's pretty timid on big slides, mostly preferring to slide with someone.
Monitoring the 'rock in the mouth' situation. He did good at first, then starting shoving them in. That was the end of that.
The decorating began. Mom had such a cute little spread for Makenah to use.
Each one got a candle. And, as much candy as it could hold.
So, Logan is a messy eater right now. (I realize this will last for a while.) He eats, squishes, pounds and swirls the food, and then when he is done, he starts to run his fingers through his hair. Its like food gel, and it happens after most meals.
The sweetest rendition of Happy Birthday.
What a night!
Happy Birthday Grandpa.

Guy stuff

I thought this would be fun!
When I am going through pictures we have downloaded, I often just quickly look through the pictures that come from Bryan's phone. Since he isn't home with the kids all day documenting all their cuteness (ha!) his phone is often used to catch guy stuff, cute times with the kids, or random things.  I thought it would be interesting to show you some of those things. I went back a way, date wise, since he doesn't take as many as I do. Ha!

Always working on something when Bryan is.
Oh, the old Explorer! Not a part of the family anymore, but Bryan was sure good at working on it himself. He is so handy!
 Newborn Logan in the hospital!
Jeep with the top off...with a super cute passenger!
 When smiling was new.
Bryan took Makenah to feed the ducks at the park.
Guys take pictures of meat on their grills.
And, of their handiwork. Bryan had to patch the ceiling of our house in Wichita. It was so high and the sheetrock was heavy to hold up there. I know this because I had to assist at one point. But, only once because he mostly just busted it out on his own.
 His ride.
 Jeeps in the mountains.
A sweet girl on a trike.
 More of the cutie.
 Brothers!
 And, Bryan.
Ahhhh! That was gross! In the basement in Wichita.
 Hahaha!
Working on his bike at his shop.
Sitting across from each other on the train ride in Colorado.
I sure do miss this girl.
A doctor's phone has important information on it.
 Working together at the shop.
 Collecting sticks.
 Celebrating Grandad's birthday.
So, there it is.
Through Bryan's lens.
Happy Friday. It's the weekend!
