Colorful Eggs

I have always enjoyed coloring eggs for Easter. I knew we would have a great time when we planned to have Aunt Jenna, Uncle Aaron and his girlfriend Maria over to dye eggs. This was Makenah's first egg dyeing experience, and she had a blast.
I got the table all set up while she napped and when she got up, we started right in.  (Logan napped on the sideline. Ha!)
A little assistance from Uncle Bear.
Makenah seemed to enjoy herself a lot. Notice how pastel all her eggs are? If you can imagine, they didn't stay in the dye very long. I definitely didn't mind! She was having a great time!
Creative Aunt Jenna. Carefully crafting the design.
As she made her way through all the eggs, they started getting re-dipped into other colors. She didn't need more eggs to keep the fun going, she just kept dipping the same ones into more colors. It was so cute!
Uncle Bear and his sweet sweet girlfriend Maria. She lives in Virginia, which is WAY too far away! She was visiting during her spring break (she teaches 2nd grade!) Come back to Kansas soon Maria!
Some of the finished product. There were lots of laughs as some of these were created.
