The cold air that took over has kept the kids and I mostly inside, beyond the needed trips to the grocery store, church, or out to visit or eat with family. The snow that accompanied the winter weather was tormenting Makenah. I tried and tried to explain how cold it was, she just couldn't get it out of her head that she needed to make a snowman in the snow. How could there be snow on the ground and she not get to play in it?!
After church on Sunday I gave in and sent Bryan out there with her…haha! Logan was napping, so we bundled her up and they stayed outside for just a few minutes. The snow wasn't conducive to snowman making, so she did some snow angels, they chased each other around and threw snowballs, and shoveled the sidewalk really quick. We made hot chocolate with marshmallows when she came in and she warmed right up.
